Postage, Packaging & Shipping

We charge a flat rate P&P of:

£2.99 per order for United Kingdom.

£9.99 per order for EU

£19.99 per order for Rest of World

Where possible orders received by 2pm Mon- Fri are despatched the same day by Royal Mail 48.

The Royal Mail 48 aims to deliver in 2-4 working days but are not guaranteed so they may take longer to arrive. For larger packages we may use another service.

International Orders – Please Note:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase.

Exchanges & Returns

Naturally, we hope you will be happy with your purchase, but should you wish to return all or part of your order for a refund of exchange you can do so within 28 days of receipt. Please remember to include your order details and a reason why.

Only new and unworn goods will be accepted.

Please ensure goods are appropriately repackaged and arrive back with us in the condition you received them.

It sounds obvious, but please DO NOT fold sun hats folded into quarters – it damages them and as such we can’t resell or refund them.

We are unable to refund goods that have been worn, smell of cigarettes, cooking, pets, perfume, those marked by makeup or are returned to us in less than perfect condition.

If there’s a problem with anything please let us know.

Important: When returning items you will be responsible for the cost of the postage to Hats 4 Heads. For your own protection we suggest you use 1st or 2nd Class Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to track your packages and to ensure the packages are signed for upon delivery to Hats 4 Heads. We ship exchanged products back to you for free with Royal Mail 2nd class service.

If you have received a damaged or incorrect item, please let us know immediately. Hats 4 Heads will naturally cover any additional postage costs incurred.

International Returns

International customers will be responsible for all shipping costs, customs charges, import duties, taxes or any other costs incurred when returning goods to the UK are the buyers responsibility. We reserve the right to reject any returns with charges attached. Any charges incurred by Hats 4 Heads receiving goods back will be deducted from any refund due.

Hats 4 Heads was set up in 2004 by our good friend Corinne after a 'Very Well Known Department Store' refused to let her sister, who had lost her hair through chemotherapy, use their changing rooms to try on a hat.

Like many others, she found the stress and humiliation of trying to discretely try on tight, uncomfortable hats to cover her rapidly balding head traumatic. Services that should have been readily available were at that time non-existent so they decided to do something about it.

Hats 4 Heads became one of the first to provide a wide range of hats and head wear with the requirement that they must be comfortable for people who have lost their hair through alopecia, cancer or illness.

In all cases customers can try the hats on in the comfort of their own home without feeling awkward or embarrassed.
